The technological services provided by the Confederation can be grouped in the following areas:
Means of payment
- It manages the EURO 6000 System processing centre, which allows the exchange of operations performed by the cards issued by the member entities of EURO 6000.
- It supports Savings Banks in complying with international security standards.
- Through PECA, it offers a service which enables Savings Banks to manage all means of payment products.
- For its part, SAT allows Savings Banks to completely manage the means of payment credit products.
- CARD makes it easier to delegate, to the most suitable extent for each bank, the processing and control of the means of payment incidents to CECA.
New channels
CECA provides virtual channel-related services to various Savings Banks, credit institutions and companies via the multi-channel electronic banking platform.
Management support services
The offer of services that CECA provides to Savings Banks includes a wide range of support services to Human Resources, Administration and General Services, in order to facilitate the tasks of purchase management and provider administration, fixed asset management and human resource management (payroll, personnel development, occupational safety and health).
Technological and service infrastructure
- Activity monitor: Service which facilitates the monitoring and control of infrastructures which support each of the services, analysing online the numbers of operations processed, average response time, service level, line occupation and monitoring systems of the Outsourcing services.
- Hidra network: it makes a set of services available to Savings Banks, aimed both at their branches and their central services. At the end of 2007, 45 services are provided through this network which are used by 44 Savings Banks and a further 32 credit institutions and services companies. A novelty we can highlight is the incorporation of a new service to support Savings Banks in the technological implementation of workstations for the TARGET2 project.
