With regard to the Spanish National Association of Savings Banks, the Confederation compiles and analyses the public data of the sector and the financial system as a whole, required both by the Banco de España and by other institutions in accordance with the sectorial criteria in this respect. It makes the necessary tools available to the user entities to efficiently perform the whole information reception, integration and transmission system.

Furthermore, by delegation of the Banco de España, CECA publishes the public financial statements of the Savings Banks: Balance sheets, Profit and Loss accounts, Changes in Net Assets and Cash flow, both individual and consolidated groups of each Savings Bank, making the information available to the public in PDF and XBRL formats.

The Confederation is also responsible for compiling and disseminating the Savings banks’ publications and it has a documentation centre on all the matters affecting the sector’s activity which is kept permanently up-to-date and with a Historic Collection of Documents.

Likewise, CECA provides advice and consultancy services, both to Savings Banks and the other entities that request them, in multiple fields: financial regulations, organization, project management, human resources, quality, legal and tax advice and regulatory compliance among others.
